Our promise is simple: We take responsibility for the things we reasonably control, and when an eligible problem occurs, we work to make it right.
For generations, families have trusted Cackle Hatchery® to provide healthy poultry across the country. Live poultry are different from ordinary products. They are living animals, transportation conditions can vary, and the first hours after arrival are especially important.
Successful live-poultry shipping is also a partnership. Cackle Hatchery is responsible for hatching, selecting, packing, and shipping healthy, vigorous poultry. Customers are responsible for promptly receiving their birds, having the proper environment prepared, and providing appropriate care after arrival.
The health of our poultry begins long before an order is packed.
Cackle Hatchery® follows established flock-health, sanitation, disease-control, testing, and monitoring practices throughout our breeding and hatchery operations. Our participating flocks and hatchery operate under applicable poultry-health testing and monitoring requirements, including participation in the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP).
These programs are maintained to reduce disease risk and help us produce and ship healthy, vigorous poultry.
However, no responsible producer of live animals can guarantee that a bird will be free from every disease, organism, health condition, or problem that could not reasonably be detected at the time of shipment. Poultry may also be exposed to environmental conditions, other animals, pathogens, or disease after leaving our control.
If you believe poultry arrived with a health condition that may have existed before shipment, please contact us promptly. Depending on the circumstances, Cackle Hatchery may request photographs, veterinary information, laboratory results, or other documentation to help evaluate the situation.
Our goal is to maintain strong flock-health practices while providing reasonable and responsible guarantees appropriate for live animals.
Cackle Hatchery® guarantees that eligible day-old poultry will arrive alive and remain covered during the critical first 48 hours after you receive them when the requirements of this guarantee are met.
We understand that shipping stress does not necessarily end the moment a box reaches the Post Office. A chick may arrive alive but still be affected by transportation stress. For this reason, our protection extends through the first 48 hours for most eligible day-old poultry.
A purchased bird that is dead upon arrival or dies during the first 48 hours is covered when the loss is reported within the required period and the applicable guarantee requirements are met.
Covered losses must occur within the first 48 hours after receipt and must also be reported to Cackle Hatchery within that same 48-hour period.
We strongly encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if birds are weak, chilled, lethargic, or otherwise struggling. Our first goal is to help protect the remaining flock.
The 48-Hour Livability Guarantee requires reasonably appropriate care.
Customers are expected to:
Losses caused or materially contributed to by inadequate heat, lack of water or feed, prolonged transportation after pickup, unsafe brooder conditions, excessive handling or stress, exposure to predators or other animals, or other significant customer-controlled conditions are not covered.
Care information is available digitally through the QR code provided with the shipment. Customers are strongly encouraged to review our Chick Care Instructions, our printable care sheet, and our Chick Care Videos before their poultry arrive.
Cackle Hatchery strongly discourages using a standard heat plate as the sole heat source for newly shipped chicks during their initial brooding period.
Mail-order chicks have undergone transportation stress and require a sufficiently warm recovery environment immediately after arrival. Many commonly available heat plates do not provide the same type of warm ambient recovery area recommended for newly shipped chicks.
Using a heat plate does not automatically void a guarantee claim. However, the brooder must still provide the temperatures and environment required for newly shipped poultry. If inadequate heat or improper brooding conditions cause or materially contribute to a loss, that loss is not covered.
Customers ordering live poultry are responsible for actively monitoring tracking and arranging prompt pickup of their shipment.
Customers are expected to:
The local Post Office may call the customer, but customers should not rely solely on receiving a telephone call. Tracking information should be the customer's primary method of monitoring arrival.
If tracking shows that the shipment has reached the destination Post Office, is available for pickup, or has been marked delivered, the customer should promptly determine the location of the shipment.
For guarantee purposes, pickup within 8 hours after the customer knew or reasonably should have known the shipment was available and could reasonably retrieve it will be considered prompt. If the customer could reasonably retrieve the shipment but leaves it at the Post Office for more than 8 hours, the extended 48-Hour Livability Guarantee will not apply.
The 8-hour limitation will not apply when timely pickup was prevented by USPS, inaccurate tracking, Post Office operating hours or refusal to release the shipment, transportation disruptions, or another circumstance outside the customer's reasonable control.
Peafowl and certain rare ornamental pheasants are unusually delicate species, particularly during transportation and their first days of life. These birds may experience mortality even when cared for by experienced poultry keepers.
Because of their naturally higher risk, eligible Peafowl and Rare Ornamental Pheasants are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee, but they are excluded from the standard 48-Hour Livability Guarantee.
If a purchased Peafowl or covered Rare Ornamental Pheasant is dead when received and the loss is reported to Cackle Hatchery within 24 hours, the loss is covered under the Live Arrival Guarantee, subject to normal claim verification.
A bird that is technically alive at receipt but arrives with an obvious serious transportation-related injury or a severely compromised condition may be reviewed individually when the condition is reported within 24 hours. The claim should not be denied solely because the bird was still alive when received.
Outside this narrow arrival-condition review, once these birds have been received alive and in reasonably stable condition, the risk associated with their continued raising and care passes to the customer.
Customers purchasing these species are strongly encouraged to carefully review the appropriate care information before ordering.
Customers should receive at least the quantity of live poultry purchased for each applicable breed, variety, and sex.
Cackle Hatchery may include additional poultry at no charge to help protect the purchased quantity during shipment. Free extras are not individually guaranteed and have no individual refundable value.
An extra bird may offset a loss only when that extra reasonably matches the breed, variety, and sex ordered. For example, an extra Rhode Island Red does not replace a missing Silkie.
If, after applicable extras are counted, the customer received fewer live birds of a purchased breed, variety, and sex than were paid for, Cackle Hatchery will provide an adjustment for the verified shortage.
Cackle Hatchery guarantees that poultry purchased as a particular breed, variety, or selection will be fulfilled as ordered except for assortments, hatchery-choice products, customer-authorized substitutions, or products specifically described otherwise.
If Cackle Hatchery makes a verified breed or variety fulfillment error, we will make it right.
The customer will receive an adjustment equal to 100% of the purchase price paid for the incorrectly fulfilled poultry, and may choose from the claim-resolution options available under Section 13, How Poultry Claims Are Resolved.
If we made the mistake, we believe we should own the mistake.
Different breeds, varieties, and sexes may be packed together in the same shipping box when appropriate for the safety of the poultry.
Unless an identification service is specifically purchased, included with the product, or otherwise stated on the order, Cackle Hatchery does not guarantee that individual chicks will be separately marked or identified by breed, variety, or sex.
Some breeds and varieties can appear very similar as day-old poultry, and identifying characteristics may become more obvious as the birds mature.
A customer's inability to visually distinguish which individual chick belongs to a particular breed, variety, or sex does not by itself establish that an incorrect bird was shipped and does not create a refund or replacement obligation.
If you believe an actual fulfillment error occurred, please contact Cackle Hatchery. Our team may review shipment photographs, order and packing records, breed characteristics, customer photographs, and other available information to help determine whether an error occurred.
Sexing day-old poultry is performed by trained professionals, but poultry sexing is a biological process and cannot be perfectly accurate.
Cackle Hatchery guarantees at least 90% gender accuracy on poultry sold as sexed.
Some breeds are naturally more difficult to sex accurately than others. Regardless, when Cackle Hatchery sells eligible poultry as sexed, we stand behind the 90% guarantee.
Gender accuracy is based on the quantity of sexed poultry purchased, not the total number of birds placed in the shipping box.
However, a free extra of the same breed, variety, and intended sex may help satisfy the number of correctly sexed birds guaranteed to the customer. Free extras do not create additional guaranteed quantities or refundable value.
A customer purchases 10 female chicks of the same breed. Cackle Hatchery includes 1 additional female chick at no charge, so 11 chicks are shipped.
The 90% guarantee means the customer is guaranteed the equivalent of at least 9 correctly sexed females from the 10 purchased.
Only free extras that reasonably match the applicable breed, variety, and intended sex may be counted toward fulfillment of the gender guarantee.
Gender claims may be submitted within 8 months of the original hatch/ship date.
Cackle Hatchery may request photographs, video, or other reasonable documentation that allows our experienced staff to verify the bird's sex.
Straight-run, unsexed, or otherwise non-sexed poultry carry no guarantee regarding the percentage of males or females received.
Cackle Hatchery® takes pride in maintaining the breeds and varieties we offer and represents our poultry in good faith according to their respective breed or variety.
Poultry are living animals, and natural genetic variation occurs even within carefully selected breeding flocks. Individual birds may vary in feather color and shade, markings, pattern, comb characteristics, body size and shape, conformation, leg or skin coloration, egg color or shade, adult weight, rate of maturity, production, temperament, and other naturally variable characteristics.
Website photographs are intended to represent the general appearance of a breed or variety.
Not every photograph appearing on the Cackle Hatchery website necessarily depicts an individual bird produced directly from Cackle Hatchery bloodlines. Some images may be used to represent the general appearance or characteristics of the breed or variety.
Individual birds are not guaranteed to mature exactly like the poultry shown in photographs.
Some Cackle Hatchery poultry are produced from bloodlines that have been selected, bred, or exhibited for desirable breed characteristics.
References to exhibition bloodlines, show bloodlines, breeder quality, or exhibition history do not constitute a guarantee that an individual chick will mature into an exhibition-quality or show-winning bird.
Even poultry produced from exceptional exhibition bloodlines may develop characteristics that make an individual bird unsuitable for exhibition. Exhibition success depends on genetics, individual development, conditioning, husbandry, age, judging standards, competition, and other factors.
Cackle Hatchery does not guarantee future exhibition quality, show performance, breeding performance, or exact adult appearance of an individual bird unless a separate written guarantee is expressly provided for that particular sale.
Poultry that arrive with an identifiable injury, abnormality, weakness, or physical condition that appears to have existed before or during transportation should be reported during the applicable guarantee period. Photographs or additional information may be required.
When available information reasonably indicates that a qualifying condition existed before receipt or occurred during transportation, Cackle Hatchery will review the claim and provide an appropriate adjustment when covered by our guarantee.
Losses caused or materially contributed to by the customer's environment, improper husbandry, exposure to other animals, predators, accidents, improper nutrition, inappropriate brooder conditions, or other customer-controlled circumstances are not covered by the guarantee.
When the cause is uncertain, we encourage customers to contact us rather than assume what caused the problem. Our team may be able to help troubleshoot the situation and protect the remaining flock.
Most poultry shipments arrive successfully. Occasionally, an unusual transportation event results in a severe loss.
When 50% or more of the purchased poultry in a shipment are lost during transit or during the applicable covered period, Cackle Hatchery treats the situation as a high-loss claim for additional documentation and internal monitoring. The 50% threshold by itself does not reduce coverage or change the customer's available remedies.
Cackle Hatchery may review USPS tracking history, transit time, weather and transportation conditions, poultry condition upon arrival, photographs, brooder information, timing of the losses, and other relevant circumstances.
If the claim is approved, the customer will receive the claim-resolution options available under Section 13, How Poultry Claims Are Resolved.
High-loss claims are also tracked so Cackle Hatchery can identify recurring postal, regional, breed, packing, weather, or other operational patterns and take corrective action when needed.
Our goal is to make legitimate claims straightforward while also giving our team enough information to understand what occurred.
As part of Cackle Hatchery's shipping process, every live-poultry order is photographed before it leaves our facility. These photographs provide Cackle Hatchery with a record of the order and its packing before it enters the postal system.
When reviewing a claim, our team may compare customer-provided information with the shipment photograph, order records, packing information, tracking history, and other available records.
Depending on the size and circumstances of a claim, Cackle Hatchery may request photographs of the poultry, shipping box, or brooder; brooder temperature; heat-source information; Post Office pickup time; tracking information; timing of losses; veterinary or laboratory information when appropriate; or other information reasonably necessary to understand what occurred.
The amount of verification required may depend on the circumstances. A routine one-bird loss generally should not require the same level of review as a large, unusual, or high-loss shipment.
Approved standard live-poultry claims qualify for a refund of the covered poultry cost or Cackle Hatchery store credit. When the claim also meets Cackle Hatchery's replacement-shipment requirements, the customer may choose one replacement shipment instead.
The customer may select one available resolution. Unless otherwise stated:
If the customer selects a replacement shipment, Cackle Hatchery will provide one replacement shipment as the one-time financial remedy for the approved claim.
Once selected, the replacement shipment fully resolves the approved claim. The replacement shipment itself does not create a new standard guarantee claim or entitlement to another replacement shipment, refund, or store credit if a problem occurs with the replacement shipment.
Customers should consider the available refund, store-credit, and replacement options before choosing a replacement shipment because the replacement is the final financial remedy. Cackle Hatchery will still assist with care concerns, and truly extraordinary circumstances may be considered separately as discretionary goodwill.
Cackle Hatchery may voluntarily provide customer-service assistance beyond the written guarantee when truly exceptional circumstances warrant.
Any assistance provided outside these written remedies is discretionary, does not alter the standard claim-resolution limits above, and does not create an entitlement to additional remedies.
Day-old poultry purchased directly from Cackle Hatchery for local pickup, whether preordered or purchased as a walk-in, are protected for 24 hours after pickup when appropriate care is provided.
A covered loss must occur within 24 hours of pickup and must also be reported to Cackle Hatchery within that same 24-hour period.
Customers are responsible for safely transporting their poultry directly home and placing them into a properly prepared brooder.
Losses caused by prolonged transportation, unnecessary stops, overheating, chilling, improper brooding, excessive handling, accidents, or other customer-controlled conditions are not covered.
Customers should inspect the general condition and quantity of their poultry before leaving the hatchery whenever reasonably possible.
Approved preorder local-pickup mortality claims are resolved through a refund or Cackle Hatchery store credit. For approved walk-in purchase claims, Cackle Hatchery may also offer a local replacement when available. Any replacement for a walk-in purchase must be picked up at Cackle Hatchery; Cackle Hatchery will not ship the replacement birds or cover shipping costs.
Poultry sold through the Chick Truck are discounted and carry an Alive-at-Purchase Guarantee only. Once the customer completes the purchase and leaves with the poultry, responsibility passes to the customer. The 24-hour local-pickup guarantee does not apply to Chick Truck purchases.
Started pullets are covered by a Live Arrival Guarantee.
Customers should inspect started pullets immediately upon receipt and promptly report any bird that is deceased upon arrival or has an obvious transportation-related injury or serious condition.
Approved claims will be based on the actual purchase price paid for the affected pullet, excluding shipping and handling.
Started pullets are not covered by the standard 48-Hour Day-Old Poultry Livability Guarantee.
Because of the age, availability, and transportation requirements involved with started pullets, replacement shipments are not offered for started-pullet claims. Approved claims will instead be resolved through a refund or Cackle Hatchery store credit.
A serious loss occurring shortly after receipt may still be reviewed individually when there is evidence that transportation or the condition of the bird upon arrival materially contributed to the loss.
Cackle Hatchery guarantees that hatching eggs are fresh and selected from breeding flocks producing fertile eggs suitable for incubation when they leave our control.
We do not guarantee hatchability of shipped hatching eggs.
After eggs leave our facility, many factors outside Cackle Hatchery's control can significantly affect hatchability, including postal handling, vibration, impact, temperature exposure, air-cell damage, transportation delays, incubator accuracy, humidity, turning, sanitation, incubation technique, and other environmental factors.
Hatching eggs are therefore sold without a guaranteed hatch percentage.
Eggs that are visibly broken upon delivery should be reported within 24 hours, and photographs may be required.
For verified visibly broken eggs, the customer may choose one replacement shipment when available, a refund for the covered eggs, or Cackle Hatchery store credit.
If the customer chooses a replacement shipment, only one replacement shipment will be provided. If qualifying damage occurs again on the replacement shipment, an approved adjustment will be resolved through refund or store credit rather than a second reshipment.
A replacement shipment does not create a hatchability guarantee.
When a live-poultry order is placed, Cackle Hatchery begins reserving birds and production availability for the customer's selected hatch date.
Customers should carefully review their order both when it is placed and after receiving the order confirmation. Please verify the hatch date, breeds and varieties, sex, quantities, vaccination selections, shipping method, shipping address, telephone number, email address, and other order selections.
Orders must be paid in full when placed unless otherwise authorized by Cackle Hatchery.
Cackle Hatchery makes reasonable efforts to keep website pricing accurate. Prices may change as products, availability, costs, or promotions change. If an obvious pricing, typographical, or website error occurs, Cackle Hatchery may correct the error before fulfillment. If an order was placed at an erroneous price, we may contact the customer to confirm the corrected price or cancel and refund the affected item or order.
Promotional pricing, discounts, specials, and other offers apply only during the stated promotion period and are subject to the terms of the specific offer. Promotional pricing is not automatically applied retroactively to orders placed outside the applicable promotion period unless the offer specifically states otherwise.
Customers may generally make eligible changes until 4 days before the scheduled hatch date.
After that cutoff, the order enters final hatch and fulfillment preparation and Cackle Hatchery generally cannot cancel, reschedule, modify, or redirect the order.
Until the change deadline, customers may generally add eligible poultry or other eligible products to an existing order through their online profile, subject to availability and safe-shipping requirements.
A $10.00 order modification fee applies when products are added to an existing live-poultry order. Any additional poultry price, vaccination charges, shipping requirements, minimum-order requirements, or other applicable charges will also apply.
Ordinary order modification does not allow customers to remove products or reduce quantities. Customers who need to decrease an existing live-poultry order should contact Cackle Hatchery. Because reductions are not supported as a simple modification, the existing order may need to be canceled and a new order placed with the customer by phone. When cancellation and recreation are used solely as the operational method to complete an approved quantity reduction, Cackle Hatchery may waive the cancellation fee.
Eligible live-poultry orders may be rescheduled until 4 days before the scheduled hatch date, subject to availability.
A $10.00 rescheduling fee applies. The same breeds, varieties, sexes, and quantities may not be available on the new date.
Customers may change the shipping address until the change deadline at no charge. Shipping addresses generally cannot be changed after that deadline.
When multiple eligible administrative changes are handled during the same modification session, Cackle Hatchery will generally assess one applicable change fee rather than stacking multiple administrative fees for the same transaction. A separate modification made later may result in another applicable fee.
A live-poultry order may generally be canceled until 4 days before the scheduled hatch date.
A flat $20.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund for each live-poultry order canceled.
Cackle Hatchery reserves poultry and production capacity specifically for each order. When an order is canceled, those birds must often be placed with another customer on relatively short notice. The flat cancellation fee helps offset the administrative work and costs involved in releasing and reassigning reserved poultry.
After the cancellation deadline, live-poultry orders generally cannot be canceled.
We understand that serious and unexpected events happen.
In circumstances involving severe weather affecting the customer, death in the family, significant emergencies, or other exceptional situations outside the customer's reasonable control, Cackle Hatchery may attempt to work with the customer even when the normal deadline has passed.
We cannot guarantee that an adjustment will still be possible, particularly once poultry have hatched or final fulfillment has begun. Exceptional circumstances will be reviewed individually.
When Cackle Hatchery approves a refund, we will generally initiate the refund within one week. Refunds will normally be issued to the original form of payment when possible.
After Cackle Hatchery initiates the refund, the customer's bank, credit-card company, payment processor, or other financial institution may require additional time before the funds appear. Processing time after the refund leaves Cackle Hatchery's system is outside our direct control.
Poultry reserved for local pickup are hatched and allocated specifically for the customer's scheduled pickup. Customers will receive scheduled pickup information and should wait until their order has been confirmed as ready before traveling to Cackle Hatchery.
If you know in advance that you cannot make your scheduled pickup, contact Cackle Hatchery as soon as possible. When advance notice is provided, our team will work with you when reasonably possible to reschedule or determine another solution.
Because poultry availability is biological, the same breeds, varieties, sexes, quantities, or date cannot always be guaranteed.
Customers who fail to appear for their scheduled pickup and do not contact Cackle Hatchery may forfeit the poultry and payment once the birds must be reassigned or otherwise placed. Once poultry have been hatched and reserved, Cackle Hatchery must quickly make decisions concerning their continued care and placement.
Non-live merchandise orders may generally be canceled without a cancellation fee before fulfillment actually begins. If online self-service cancellation is unavailable but fulfillment has not begun, the customer may contact Cackle Hatchery to request cancellation. Once an order has shipped, it is handled under the return policy below.
Products fulfilled directly by a manufacturer or other third-party supplier may become noncancelable once the order has been transmitted for fulfillment and may be subject to manufacturer-specific return requirements. Any material product-specific cancellation or return restriction will be disclosed on the applicable product page or before purchase when applicable.
Unused non-live merchandise may generally be returned within 30 days of purchase. Approved eligible returns may receive a refund or Cackle Hatchery store credit.
Returned merchandise should generally be unused, in substantially original condition, complete with necessary parts and accessories, and suitable for resale.
Cackle Hatchery does not charge a standard restocking fee on ordinary eligible merchandise returns. For ordinary returns or changes of mind, original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable and the customer is responsible for return shipping.
If Cackle Hatchery sends the wrong product or an item is verified to have arrived defective or damaged, contact us. When the problem was caused by Cackle Hatchery or existed before receipt, approved resolution may include refund, store credit, or replacement.
Cackle Hatchery will pay or reimburse reasonable return shipping when the return is required because we sent the wrong product or the item was verified to be defective or damaged before receipt.
After 30 days, defective merchandise may be handled according to any applicable manufacturer's warranty or reviewed individually by Cackle Hatchery.
Contact Cackle Hatchery before sending merchandise back. We will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Cackle Hatchery may require defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise to be returned before issuing a replacement or refund.
For animal-welfare and biosecurity reasons, live poultry cannot be returned to Cackle Hatchery after leaving our control.
Problems involving live poultry should be handled through the applicable guarantee and claims process.
There are numerous poultry diseases and vaccinations available, but Cackle Hatchery® currently offers vaccination specifically for Marek's disease in eligible chickens.
Marek's vaccination must be administered at 1 day of age. Cackle Hatchery currently uses an MD/Rispens vaccine.
Vaccination must be selected before chicks are processed for shipment. Once poultry have left the hatchery, Cackle Hatchery cannot administer the vaccination later.
Marek's disease is a highly contagious viral disease of chickens that can cause tumors and affect the nerves and internal organs.
Signs associated with Marek's disease may include paralysis of one or more limbs, tumors, depression or poor condition, changes to the eye, unequal pupil size, and immunosuppression.
Other diseases and health conditions can produce similar symptoms. Symptoms alone therefore do not necessarily establish that Marek's disease is the cause of a bird's condition.
Vaccination is used to help reduce the risk and severity associated with Marek's disease.
Marek's vaccination is not a guarantee that a vaccinated chicken will never become infected with, develop symptoms of, or be affected by Marek's disease.
Vaccination has nevertheless been widely used as an important tool for helping protect chickens from the effects of the disease.
Cackle Hatchery® does not make an individual recommendation regarding whether a particular customer should vaccinate their poultry for Marek's disease.
Customers should research the disease, consider their own farm or flock history, evaluate their individual circumstances, and make the decision they believe is appropriate.
Customers who have previously experienced Marek's disease on their property may wish to give particular consideration to vaccination because birds entering an environment with a known history may face increased exposure risk.
Cackle Hatchery does not provide Marek's vaccination for Geese, Ducks, Guineas, Turkeys, Peafowl, Game Birds, or Jumbo Cornish.
Additional product restrictions may apply when stated on the applicable product page.
When Marek's vaccination is purchased with an eligible order, Cackle Hatchery's records will indicate that the vaccination service was selected and performed as part of hatchery processing.
Vaccination does not expand or replace the other health, livability, or disease limitations contained in these Guarantees & Policies.
Live-poultry hatch dates depend on biological production and future hatch results. Egg production, fertility, hatchability, breed availability, incubator or hatcher malfunction, equipment failure, and other production conditions can affect whether all poultry scheduled for a particular hatch date are available as planned.
A requested or scheduled hatch or ship date is therefore a reservation based on expected production and availability, not an absolute guarantee that every breed, variety, sex, or quantity will hatch as projected.
Live-poultry transportation can occasionally be affected by severe weather, postal interruptions, natural disasters, transportation emergencies, government restrictions, or other conditions outside Cackle Hatchery's direct control.
Cackle Hatchery may delay, reschedule, adjust, substitute when authorized, or otherwise modify fulfillment or shipment when production availability, severe weather, transportation conditions, or poultry health and safety make the original schedule impractical or unsafe.
When a significant production or transportation disruption affects an order, we will attempt to communicate the situation and available options to the customer.
An estimated ship or delivery date is not a guarantee that USPS transportation conditions will remain unchanged.
Photographs, graphics, videos, illustrations, and other visual content appearing on Cackle Hatchery's website or produced by Cackle Hatchery are protected content unless otherwise indicated.
Cackle Hatchery photographs and visual materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, sold, or used for commercial purposes without permission from Cackle Hatchery.
If you would like permission to use a Cackle Hatchery photograph or other visual asset, please contact us before using the material.
Cackle Hatchery may update these policies as our operations, website, carriers, regulations, products, and services change.
For an existing order, the material guarantee, cancellation, and order-change terms in effect when the customer placed the order will generally remain applicable unless:
Cackle Hatchery may always provide customer-service assistance beyond the minimum requirements of these policies when circumstances warrant.
A guarantee must establish reasonable limits, but our customer service should not end simply because a situation falls outside those limits.
If your poultry are struggling, contact Cackle Hatchery.
Even when a loss ultimately does not qualify for reimbursement, our team will still do our best to help determine what may be happening and what can be done to protect the remaining birds.
